The last step is to check the condition of all hoses and adjust the position of the oiler.

Connect the drill pipe

1.When the rotary head is lowered to the lowest level, lift the rotary head to make the plate mouth on the drill pipe at the position where the fork plate can be inserted, stop the rotary and feed, and close the impact pressure air.

2.Insert the fork plate into the plate opening of the drill pipe and lower the rotary head so that the positioning surface of the fork is placed on the drill pipe bushing of the centralizer.

3.Use the stop pin to block the fork plate, turn it in the opposite direction, and release the joint.

4.Let the rotary head rotate while slowly lifting until the joint and the drill pipe are completely released. At this time, the drill pipe is suspended on the centralizer by the fork.

5.Grease the drill pipe threads and cover the drill pipe with a thread protection cap.

6.Grease the next drill pipe thread.

8.Hang the drill pipe hanger with drill pipe on the lug of the connecting rod.

9.Lift the turret until the drill pipe is completely suspended.

11.Remove the thread protection cap, slowly lower the rotary head, slowly rotate forward, and align the female joint end with the male joint end of the previous drill pipe until the upper and lower joints are tightened.
